About the Role

We're hiring a Content Creator & Social Media Manager to own and shape Sling's voice online. First and foremost, you're a creator. Someone who can pick up a camera, tell a story, and make content that stops people mid-scroll. But you also have the strategic and organisational instincts to run our social media presence end-to-end.

You'll own our online persona, produce content across platforms, and coordinate with other creators and influencers to ensure we're consistently showing up with content that resonates. You'll also be our boots on the ground in online communities, driving organic awareness, managing conversations, and turning followers into fans.

This is a full-time role, though we're open to freelance arrangements for the right person. It's also remote-friendly, and we'd love someone who lives across borders like our customers and genuinely understands why our product matters.

What you'll do

• Define Sling's social media strategy, including which platforms to prioritise, which audiences to target, and how to grow our presence in a way that drives real business impact
• Shape Sling's online identity, making deliberate decisions about tone of voice and visual style across every channel
• Create original content across formats (short-form video, graphics, captions) for Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn and beyond
• Build and own a content calendar, managing day-to-day publishing and scheduling across all platforms
• Coordinate with external content creators, videographers, and influencer partners to maintain a consistent, high-quality output
• Drive organic awareness through active participation in relevant online communities (Reddit, Facebook Groups, Twitter/X threads, local forums)
• Monitor and respond to comments and DMs across all channels, engaging authentically on behalf of the brand
• Track performance metrics and use data to improve content strategy over time, with success measured by follower growth, engagement, and building Sling into a recognised online personality that drives user growth

What we're looking for

• A proven content creator, comfortable in front of (and behind) a camera, with a strong eye for what works on each platform
• A genuine feel for brand voice. You can craft a consistent online persona that feels human, not corporate
• Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken). You can write sharp, native-level copy in both
• Highly organised and self-directed. You can manage a content calendar and coordinate multiple contributors without being chased
• Scrappy and creative. You come up with ideas, test them fast, and learn from the data
